At 20: 56 on 26 November 2021, the No.1 furnace of the waste-to-energy plant operated by Pingyi Tianying Environmental Protection Energy Co., Ltd. was successfully connected to the grid and the officially entered the trial operation stage.
The project has a total investment of about RMB 310 million, covers an area of 58,666 square metres and has a construction area of 33,758 square metres. The design capacity of the project is 600t/d, including 2 sets of 300t/d mechanical grate waste incinerators, 2 sets of 24t/h medium-temperature and medium-pressure waste heat boilers and 1 set of 12MW steam turbine generator, as well as flue gas purification and leachate treatment system.
During the construction of the project, the Mayor of Pingyi County, Mr. Chen Shixian, and other leaders from the County Law Enforcement Bureau visited the project site many times to provide timely coordination to deal with any difficulties during the construction process.
The project will help boost the local waste treatment capacity, and promote the construction of ecological civilization in Pingyi County.
