On December 8, the eighth China Environmental Protection Equipment Summit hosted by China Association of Machinery Industry for Environmental Protection (CAMIE) was successfully held in Beijing. The forum was moderated by Yu Hongli, Secretary General of CAMIE. Huang Libin, Director of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilisation Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ding Zhijun, Deputy Director of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilisation Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Wang Shuai, Grade-4 Researcher of Investment and Technical Guidance Division of Science, Technology and Finance Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, were present to deliver speeches. Gao Xiang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Ren Hongqiang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Zhou Quanfa, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Changzhou Institute of Technology and Foreign Academician of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, and Yuan Ling, director of Environmental Protection Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilisation Division of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology made keynote speeches.
The summit arranged display booths for key enterprises with outstanding performance in environmental protection equipment manufacturing industry. Various activities were held and award ceremonies were hosted, including China Environmental Protection Machinery Industry Association 2023 Council, environmental protection equipment listed companies closed door meeting, environmental protection equipment science and technology awards, and China Environmental Protection Machinery Industry Association advanced units and individuals award ceremony.
During the summit, the “Solid Waste Incineration Residue Plasma Melting Technology and Complete Set of Equipment" independently developed by Jiangsu Tianying Plasma Technology and Jiangsu Tianying Eco-energy Equipment Manufacturing was awarded the first prize of technological innovation in the Environmental Protection Equipment Science and Technology Award of 2023, which is the second time for China Tianying to get the honour. Jiangsu Tianying Eco-energy Equipment Manufacturing was recognized as an advanced unit of environmental protection equipment company 2020-2023 because of its outstanding achievements in standard collation in the past three years.
